　　領(lǐng)先的國際種植公司吉隆坡甲洞有限公司 (KLK) 宣布大幅擴大其在中國的油脂化學(xué)加工能力。這一戰(zhàn)略舉措旨在滿足該地區(qū)對可持續(xù)油脂化學(xué)產(chǎn)品日益增長的需求，并加強 KLK 在全球市場的地位。

　　新工廠位于江蘇省張家港市，將增強 KLK 生產(chǎn)各種優(yōu)質(zhì)油脂化學(xué)產(chǎn)品的能力，包括脂肪酸、甘油和特種酯。此次擴建預(yù)計將使公司的生產(chǎn)能力提高 50%，提供強勁供應(yīng)，滿足個人護理、制藥、食品和工業(yè)應(yīng)用等行業(yè)的各種需求。

　　新建的高純度脂肪酸和甘油工廠將使該工廠的年加工能力達到 50 萬噸。該油脂化學(xué)綜合體占地 58 英畝，由 KLK 的全資子公司太高棕櫚油（張家港）有限公司 (TPOZ) 擁有和運營。此次擴建使 TPOZ 成為中國規(guī)模最大、技術(shù)最先進的油脂化學(xué)生產(chǎn)工廠之一。TPOZ 成立于 2004 年 1 月。其第一家工廠于 2006 年投入使用。

　　KLK 在中國的擴張符合該公司利用亞洲蓬勃發(fā)展的油脂化學(xué)品市場的長期戰(zhàn)略。中國是油脂化學(xué)品的最大消費國之一，新工廠將使 KLK 能夠以更高的效率和更短的交貨時間更好地服務(wù)客戶。

　　KLK expands oleochemicals processing capacity in China

　　Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK), a leading international plantation company, has announced a significant expansion of its oleochemicals processing capacity in China. This strategic move is aimed at meeting the growing demand for sustainable oleochemical products in the region and strengthening KLK’s position in the global market.

　　The new facility, located in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, will enhance KLK’s ability to produce a wide range of high-quality oleochemical products, including fatty acids, glycerine, and specialty esters. This expansion is expected to increase the company’s production capacity by 50%, providing a robust supply to cater to the diverse needs of industries such as personal care, pharmaceuticals, food, and industrial applications.

　　The new high-purity fatty acids and glycerine plant brings the facility’s annual processing capacity to 500,000 tonnes. The oleochemical complex located on 58 acres is owned and operated by KLK’s wholly-owned Taiko Palm-Oleo (Zhangjiagang) Co Ltd (TPOZ). The expansion makes TPOZ one of the largest and most technologically advanced oleochemical production plants in China. TPOZ was incorporated in January 2004. Its first plant was commissioned in 2006.

　　Strategic importance

　　KLK’s expansion in China aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to leverage the burgeoning market for oleochemicals in Asia. With China being one of the largest consumers of oleochemical products, this new facility positions KLK to better serve its clients with improved efficiency and reduced lead times.

　　“Our journey began with the vision of becoming an integrated player in the oils and fats sector, both locally and internationally. The presence of our facility in Zhangjiagang has been pivotal in realising this vision. It has enabled us to cater to a growing market, catering to both domestic consumption and international export,” said Kow Tiat Yong, deputy CEO of KLK OLEO, KLK’s oleochemicals manufacturing division.
